Big Day Out Festival Canceled, Acquired By C3 Presents

Big Day Out, one of the largest music festivals in Australia will take 2,015 out due to a "lack of headliners." According to FasterLouder, Big Day Out founder AJ Maddah made the revelation on Twitter, describing the facts available as "fuck all."

Big Day Out is owned by C3 Presents, the same company behind the limits of Lollapalooza and Austin City in the U.S. In recent years, Big Day Out and Lolla shared several headlining acts such as Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Muse, and Soundgarden. Therefore, it is very possible that these festivals Americans could face a similar shortage of talent.

Maddah specifically mention Outkast and Foo Fighters as two of the acts considered as headliners for 2015.'s Not clear who else came to the party. C3 Presents says he still intends to bring back Big Day Out in 2016.
